AMEER BARAKA -  Actor-Writer who rose from prison to Hollywood.

Born to humble beginnings in New Orleans, LA, Ameer, had an early life that was as gloomy and as ill fated as a young life could have been. In and out of the "system" as a kid for transgressions ranging from youthful indiscretions to major crimes, he was seemingly on a one-way trip to oblivion.  Perhaps more than any other influence, Baraka attributes his

Sula Kim is an award winning journalist at WDSU (NBC-TV) in New Orleans Louisiana. She currently anchors the evening newscasts at 5,6 and 10pm. Kim joined WDSU in 2012 as morning anchor, reporting on many political and educational issues of the city.  In 2014, Kim covered the Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia for all 30 Hearst owned TV 

stations across the country. In 2015 Kim went to work for KING-TV, the NBC affiliate in Seattle Washington, but two years later, returned to her adopted home of New Orleans and back to WDSU as the main anchor. Kim's long career journey includes work at WBAY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Green Bay Wisconsin, and WVEC-TV in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia. Over the years, Kim has received numerous journalism and community awards including a team Emmy for the Virginia Tech shooting, a regional Edward R. Murrow award and the Walter Cronkite award for Political Journalism. Kim is a native of Los Angeles and studied Communications at the University of California San Diego

personal transformation and metamorphosis to the spirituality and self-love he developed from reading the Bible behind bars. Baraka began his professional acting career by appearing in music videos and making minor appearances in national and international television commercials. This early work, along with his dedication to the study of the acting craft with some of Hollywood's leading acting coaches and instructors, led to increasingly prominent roles and an Emmy Nomination. He also authored a book, The Life I Chose, the Streets Lied to me.

St Tammany Parish President Pat Brister, District Attorney Warren Montgomery, Covington Mayor Mike Cooper, Mandeville Mayor Donald Villere, Slidell Mayor Greg Cromer will be on the program.
