WILLIAM FAY was the president and CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation, and enjoyed a lavish lifestyle. But, he was driven to stray into darker areas of life, pursuing more and more power and wealth. He was involved with organized crime, gambling, racketeering and book making. He at one time ran the largest house of prostitution in the country. But God called him and Bill surrendered. He is now an internationally known author, speaker, teacher.
BOB WILLIAMSONis a renowned businessman and serial entrepreneur. He has achieved national acclaim for his business acumen and philanthropic efforts. All told, Williamson has founded over 20 successful businesses. BEN JONES is from Ruston, Louisiana. He grew up an outdoorsman, cowboy, and multi-sport athlete. He played football at LSU, married his high school sweetheart, went to Dallas Theological Seminary, worked as an oil & gas explorationist, and recently wrote, produced, and co-starred in the movie “Peace River”, a modern, faith-based/Western/military/romance story. Ben and Meg have been married 45 years and have 3 children and 14 grandchildren. Ben is a hopeless romantic and optimist. He claims to have read the Book Of Life and skipped to the end and found out God wins in the end.
DR. MICHAEL GIROUARD born and raised in Chalmette, LA. He graduated from Chalmette High School as Valedictorian and was student council president. After high school, he attended Southeastern Louisiana University and earned a BS in Chemistry with minors in Mathematics and Physics. Dr. Michael Girouard, MD is a bariatric medicine specialist who practiced in Huntersville, NC. He graduated from Louisiana State University/ Shreveport Campus in 1980. DR. VERN PALMISANO is a board certified physician in Covington, Louisiana specializing in the practice of Family Medicine for the past 27 years. CONGRESSMAN RALPH ABRAHAM, MD has served Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District since 2015 and is in his second term. Dr. Abraham is a member of the House Armed Services Committee where he prioritizes Louisiana's military instillations, including Fort Polk, Barksdale Air Force Base and the Naval base in Belle Chasse. He was a First Lieutenant with the Army National Guard, and he flies for the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Air Force’s Civil Air Patrol. SULA KIM is an award winning journalist at WDSU (NBC-TV) in New Orleans Louisiana. She currently anchors the evening newscasts at 5,6 and 10pm. Kim joined WDSU in 2012 as morning anchor, reporting on many political and educational issues of the city. In 2014, Kim covered the Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia for all 30 Hearst owned TV stations across the country. In 2015 Kim went to work for KING-TV, the NBC affiliate in Seattle Washington, but two years later, returned to her adopted home of New Orleans and back to WDSU as the main anchor. Over the years, Kim has received numerous journalism and community awards including a team Emmy for the Virginia Tech shooting, a regional Edward R. Murrow award and the Walter Cronkite award for Political Journalism. Kim is a native of Los Angeles and studied Communications at the University of California San Diego.
AMEER BARAKA had an early life that was as gloomy and as ill fated as a young life could have been. In and out of the "system" as a kid for transgressions ranging from youthful indiscretions to major crimes, he was seemingly on a one-way trip to oblivion. Perhaps more than any other influence, Baraka attributes his personal transformation and metamorphosis to the spirituality and self-love he developed from reading the Bible behind bars. Baraka began his professional acting career by appearing in music videos and making minor appearances in national and international television commercials. This early work, along with his dedication to the study of the acting craft with some of Hollywood's leading acting coaches and instructors, led to increasingly prominent roles and an Emmy Nomination. He also authored a book, The Life I Chose, the Streets Lied to me.
JEFF KEMP is a Dartmouth-educated MBA from a widely-respected political family. His leadership, compassion and inspiration are a part of his legacy. He and his father Jack Kemp (former Vice- Presidential candidate and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development) were the first of only six sets of father/son NFL quarterbacks. Jeff entered the league as a free agent and quarterbacked for the Rams, Forty-Niners, Seahawks, and Eagles. Kemp is a quarterback for the family. Persevering through the highs and lows of his years in the NFL gave Jeff valuable insights on servant leadership, committed teamwork, and overcoming adversity. Today, he passes on those lessons as he illuminates God’s blueprints for manhood, marriage, and family. Jeff and his wife Stacy have been married for over 30 years and have four sons.
